In this evaluation you obtain:

  • Certificate: Design For Theoretical Recycling, with the results obtained.
    (Check list type document).

QUALITATIVE ASSESSMENT, REVIEW AND PROPOSAL FOR IMPROVEMENT

  • In-depth analysis: in addition to theoretical analysis, all possible interferences with physical packaging are reviewed (emptying tests, separability, symbology, tests in real sorting plants and in recycling processes, properties of recycled material);
  • External review by the Gremi de Recuperació de Catalunya;
  • Proposals for improving recyclability.

You get:

  1. A qualitative assessment report, signed by DríadeSM and the GRC:
    • Explanation of the recycling process of the packaging typology evaluated; 
    • Report on the tests carried out;
    • Graphic material (videos and photographs) of the tests carried out; 
    • Interferences (or not) in each phase of the process and the cause of the same, the quality of the recycled material obtained;
    • Recommendations for improvement.
  2. Certificate of assessment in traffic light code:
    • Design for recycling;
    • Sorting flow;
    • Recycling flow;
    • Recycling;
    • Recycled material.

The company requesting the assessment of its packaging may decide to continue with the following steps, or it may decide to implement the proposed improvements and thus subsequently certify a higher percentage of packaging material available for quality recycling.

QUANTIFICATION, REVIEW AND CERTIFICATION

  •  Quantitative assessment and determination of the percentage of packaging material available for quality recycling;
  • External review by the UNESCO Chair in Life Cycle and Climate Change ESCI-UPF and the Gremi de Recuperació de Catalunya;
  • Issuance of Report and Certificate of the percentage of packaging material available for quality recycling.

 

You get:

 

  1. A quantitative assessment report, signed by DríadeSM, the GRC, the UNESCO Chair in Life Cycle and Climate Change ESCI-UPF.
  2. Certificate of packaging and percentage of packaging material available for quality recycling:
    – In numbers, with the percentage;
    – In levels, represented by stars.

    – In digits, with the percentage;
    – In levels, represented by stars.
